Lead Nurse
Susie has been a senior red cell Clinical Nurse Specialist since 2012 so has a wealth of experience in the care of patients with sickle cell, thalassaemia and rare inherited anaemias. She completed the Haemoglobinopathies: Advancing Client-Centred Care at King’s College University in 2018 and is an Independent Nurse Prescriber. Susie wants to help improve equity of care for sickle cell patients across the NE & Y region in her post as HCC lead nurse.
