Clinical Lead, Paediatric
I am a paediatric haematologist based in Sheffield and am involved in the care of children with all non-malignant haematological disorders across Sheffield, South Yorkshire and the Humber region. I am the trust lead for transfusion medicine and clinical lead for the haematology laboratory at Sheffield Children’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. I am the regional lead for haemoglobinopathies and rare anaemia care for paediatric services and the paediatric lead for the North East and Yorkshire Haemoglobinopathy Coordinating Centre. I am also a member of the National Haemoglobinopathy Panel and will continue to work to the best of my ability to improve the equity and care for our patients and families over the coming years.
