Charelle Smith-Asipa

Hello, as a newly appointed deputy, I am excited and honoured to be part of something so needed and meaningful. I hope to bring knowledge, ideas, understanding and empathy to all involved and I look forward to contributing to the panel’s work and growth. Being part of the panel is very important and personal to me because I suffer with Sickle Cell Anaemia. After feeling alone and isolated for so long, I now not only have a voice for me but for everyone else who feels or has felt similar.
